A couple weeks ago I headed out to good ole' holland Michigan to hang out with the Maas family at their beach house :) I had done photos there last year and it was absolutely sweltering, but this year it was sunny and breezy...a beautiful night for pictures! Steve and Lisa have 7 beautiful children who I am crazy about and a house on the beach which I am also crazy about! (You will notice that there are only individual shots of 6 of the kids, I didn't forget one, Jori just decided she didn't want photos this year so thats why...she's absolutely beautiful so I was a bit bummed, but I also appreciate a girl who knows what she wants! :)) You will probably recognize their youngest, Truman, who is now 2! Seriously, I don't know where the time goes...all the more reason to capture their kids at each stage of life! Enjoy these sweet smiles, and thanks Maas family for welcoming me into your home once again :)
Truman has these great curls that I am in love with.
Isn't he just the sweetest!
Look at all that sweetness!
My next mission was to capture a family portrait!
When you have 7 kids, toddlers and teens, family pictures tend to be an adventure...an oh so memorable adventure! :)
this next one makes me smile...this is the family portrait I would want, just look at the story it tells :) I especially LOVE Ezra's face in this one :)
This is Ray, he's the oldest, a very handsome dude who just finished high school :)
This is Ezra...he's a really funny dude...also, ridiculously cute!
Ezra trying out his angles :)
See...told you he was funny...
Here's Isaac, one of my helpers! He helped me wrangle the little guys :) Love his freckles and brown eyes!
This is Simeon...he's 8, and I'm quite certain he's already smarter than me!
He's so cute I can't handle it :)
Here are Steve and Lisa...the ring leaders! :)
This is where all those beautiful kids get it from
And last, but certainly not least...the beautiful Sally.
Sally was the only one who wanted her photos taken on the beach...and it was beautiful down there!
Such a gorgeous girl. Thanks Sally for letting me take these!
