Adventures in capturing a family photo

A few weeks ago I spent my Saturday morning with the Durr-Seddon clan. We had attempted a family photo a few months ago and got rained out, so this was our second attempt which proved to also be eventful! Some of the family is from out of town so we worked around a trip and ended up taking photos in the morning, thinking it wouldn't be so hot...no such luck! One of the hottest days this summer, and here I am making them stand close haha. Thank goodness these guys are troopers and we had fun anyways! Thanks guys for trying again :)

I spent a little extra time with these guys at the end, how cute are they!?!

Jaret was not thrilled at this point, so we were trying to cheer him up...Jaxon was ready the whole time haha!

We eased Jaret into photos again with the help of his coloring book...which dad is holding in this one, and I later held to try to get him to smile...I love a challenge!

I had a coloring book on my head at this point..

Then it was Jaret's turn, and what did he do? imitated everything I did! haha

This was funny too, Jaxon had to ease his way into a photo with his brother, they played catch with a rock for awhile...

this lasted 2 seconds, then Jaret realized his brother was touching him ;)
