Busy but blessed!

I am so incredibly behind on blog posts, because I've been so busy shooting, (and getting ready to move for that matter!), but I am feeling so blessed! Photography is my passion and gives me great joy and it has been amazing to be able to capture so many moments already this summer. I promise someday soon I will put real posts up, but for now here are some little sneaks!

Pure Michigan

Last week I took the buick for a road trip to Holland to hang out with the Maas family. I photographed their youngest, Truman, a few months ago and was so excited to get some photos of everyone! We spent the very sweaty evening at thier incredible cottage on Lake Michigan and had a lot of fun! When I was standing on the beach taking their photos all I could think of was "pure Michigan," this must be what they are talking about :) Although it was my sweatiest shoot to date, we got some really great shots of some really gorgeous people. Enjoy!

Little Miss Natalie: 6 months!

It is crazy for me to believe that 6 months have already gone by since I first met sweet Natalie! Aquinas seems to be the location of choice for 6 month photos lately, so I met Natalie and her mom there last Friday morning to hang out. One of my favorite things is watching my newborns grow, and 6 months is one of my favorite ages to photograph. At 6 months you get so much expression, and those sweet awkward movements as they explore the world around them. Natalie gave me the biggest smile when I met her and her mom, but then really made us work hard once the camera was out :) Natalie has the most gorgeous blue eyes and sweet expression, I can't wait to see what she does next.
