cleaning out the library

Sorry i haven't posted any of my professional work on here lately! I'm really busy at work right now as well as editing photos for clients...hopefully i'll get around to putting some of that stuff up soon...but for now...
I was cleaning out my iphoto library tonight and came across some of my favorite photos of all time. These photos are from one of the happiest days of my life, September 8 2008, the day my Godson was born! I will never forget meeting him for the first time and feeling such incredible love for someone I had just met. He is a fighter and thrived throughout a difficult pregnancy for his momma, and my life has not been the same since I held him for the first time. These are a few pictures that I took of him at the hospital, as well as a few i snapped when he was just a week or two old. I am mostly posting them because i was so thrilled to come across them tonight, I'm aware that they probably mean way more to me than they will to anyone else just looking, but I couldn't help but post them anyways.

Darby and LT

So last night I got to spend some quality time with two of my favorite little ones, Darby and LT! Lt is my Godson, and it was his first time overnight at my house :) His big sisterDarby is an old pro at spending the night at my house so she was a big help! I love these two kids as if they were my own and am so blessed to have them in my life. Here are a few photos i snapped last night, Lt has some seriously gorgeous eyes, but he's still a little shocked by my camera so it was a bit hard to get him to smile for me!

Love is in the air...

I'm back! After a couple of slow weeks in photography, business is picking up again! The break was great, but it felt so great to get back behind the camera last week; I spend so much time with my camera it feels weird when its not attached to me :)
I met this couple for the first time at our shoot. We got off to kind of a shakey start while we were both waiting for eachother for about 20 minutes before we figured out it was the other that we were waiting for haha, and then we ended up changing locations. Once we got rolling though, it was a great shoot! The wind was super strong and extremely cold, but we battled the elements and got some great shots. Here are a few of my favorites ( i haven't really edited them yet, but i wanted to get them up here) I have quite a bit on the docket for the next few weeks so look for some stuff here!
