January 29 was a great day. My best friend got married to the love of her life, and I got to share in their journey and be a part of their day. Now, usually I have a strict policy against photographing my friend's wedding, but when Shanna got engaged and decided to get married 2 months later, well, I had to cut the girl some slack! In addition to photographing her wedding, Shanna asked me to be her maid of honor, and I was truly honored. Shanna has been my best friend since 1st grade and I am so thrilled that she and Ed found eachother. Thank goodness for Shanna being low key about photography, and for the help of her aunt Keri, we pulled it off and the day was incredible! Thanks so much Shanna and Eddie, you are such a blessing to me and I am so happy to share this journey with you! There is no way I could've shared all the joy from their special day, but here are a few of my favorite moments captured...stay tuned for their "just married" shoot as well :)
Shanna's mom and her friends decorated the church and reception hall, it was beautiful!
Have I told you my best friend is gorgeous?
Where's the bride?!
Ava made the sweetest flower girl
Shanna's dad seeing her for the first time...
I obviously was standing up front during the ceremony, so I gave Shanna's aunt a quick camera lesson and let her have fun during the ceremony, she did a beautiful job!
Ed and his mom, who was here from Peru
Grandma's cupcakes!
The cake topper was so cute hah
They were hiding out before being announced in the reception
oops sorry girls..I didn't get the flowers down memo haha
Shanna and Ed's bosses came from Boston :)
Shanna's aunt also took these next three, which I love!
Part of Ed's family :)
Shanna's parents
And then the party really got going...
Thanks again Shanna and Ed for letting me be a part of your day, it couldn't have been more beautiful! love you guys :)
